was challenged by my best friend who is a glass artist and loves the ocean and mermaids to do a mermaid ... this is what i came up with , would like to do another one and incorporate more of a pinstiping feel to it

  7. Nice start everyone !
    Plenty of tasty items already.

Hey I dont know about you but when I consider the possibility of other life out there among the stars, I like to imagine desolate planets, sexy spacegirls and bubbletop hot rods. Sort of like this.
I took some liberty to use a fellow HAMBers car for this one, hope he/she doesnt mind.

Your ability to beadroll things that ornate is fantastic!

Wonderful shot of this car that really represents that early radical custom look.

Not sure if this will qualify for the FAS. It is a road sign anyway. :) Friend commented about how she really liked a smoking cowboy I did a while back, then made a comment about how it would be nice to be able to buy a painted piece, but money was tight (young and a new family). Well it's done and it's a free surprise for them! Studio shot and "what I'm calling done" final.

Nice work so far. Nothing new from me...been puuling too many hours at the 'day-job' to have time for much else.

Here's an old 'inking' I found the other day. Did this with a flair tip pen and french curves/templates...

Jen I very much like the complex and circuitous nature of your work, even with all the intricacies, it flows so very well and remains balanced and pleasing to the eye.
