I'm rebuilding a Holley 750 double pumper but I noticed the rear power valve is plugged. Should it have a rear power valve also or leave it plugged? It's going on a street 440 with a healthy cam. Thanks
You can look up the original parts for the carb in the holley book http://www.holley.com/data/TechService/Technical/Carb Numerical Listing.pdf
Thanks for the link! I have a book with all that but it was from 1991 and didn't have this carb in it yet. The date on it is 96.
Being that this carb has the "down leg" venturie boosters, it's actualy a 780 cfm carb... If it had the straight boosters, it would flow around 750 cfm.....
There is no need for a power valve in the rear but if the front has a power valve then it will have different jet sizes. PM me if you have any more questions or need any parts. I work at a high performance carb shop and can get any holly part sent to you the same day.
Holley has a decent tech line. They were able to tell me what size jets were stock in my 600 cfm 4150 DP.
