I had this in my email box this morning. VERY COOL!! Vintage racing and smokey burnouts & early 1960's show paint.

Lippy, I wondered if Dickie Harrells was one of the rigs performing. He was a bad ass racer, he helped a couple of my friends set up their 62 409's back in the days of the Grand Island, Ne. drag strip days, real cool cat. Thanx for sharing the cool vids S.B. ~sololobo~

The 666 roadster is "El Toro" from Texas and was still being run a couple of years ago.

I will ask around, my pop's grew up in that area. I looked thru some of the pictures that I scanned a while back & I don't see it. I will look thru some more pix that I have in a shoebox.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. The guy filming did a real decent job.

I'd bet that at least a couple of those cars are collecting dust in a local garage waiting to be found. My hope would be to track down that sweet gold deuce 5/w @ 8:01!

I'm guessing it being (only) 1/8th mile that this was a private service road? I'd imagine it still looks much the same today-farmland?

If those giant silos are still present, you could easily pinpoint the site. Can you google earth image it for us?

Not sure what he was running before his 32 Ford five window coupe but I bet that Don Long was there. Probably Don Baxter too.
