Great show this week!! Especially like the 59 Buick from Neon Charly and the "...book by its cover" entry from Harley Rider.

A lot of nice work this week and for me Pure Hell's top view Kellison takes the cake and johnybsic's girlfriend's gasser cake is pure hell - in a good way.

Don't know about the story first posted. I stumbled upon this guy from New Zealand selling plans to build your own can model with all the empties in the corner of the shop.

  11. I really dig this Edsel - shot at a good angle to see those modified headlights and grill.
I'd be all over this car if I was at the KKOA.

That thing is bad to the bone!

Love it and have thought about something like that for over the bar in my house. I never thought about all the neon though. That must have cost a pretty penny.

    Good so far....

  15. Thanks for posting, cool art and half truth... but you "CAN" judge a hoax with a "Google".....
Hate to crush the can story but according Al Gores super highway these are cans made by a a dude in New Zealand. But thanks for posting, they're cool to look at and make me thirsty and a little sad that all I can do is make 'em empty.

  16. Another "Rad Ride by Troy" creation.

  17. Hey, Thanks Jimmy. That figures, and that's great stuff.

Neon Charly - you are definitely the winner of my most unusual cool thing of the week award. Love neon, love what you did with the Buick grill.

Gorgeous work Ken - this is my favorite = love the plants on the left and that really cool reflecting color in the grill.

Tom - this is outstanding as are the rest of your shots. Love the intense grittiness of it.

    Well seen and well executed!

Lab Rat - very cool seeing what your cars shows have to offer - great pics - thanks for sharing them.

Harley Rider - those tin can models are great - so creative and well done.

A32Flathead - fabulous Pebble Beach shots.

johnybsic - Your girlfriend has just set the standard to be met or beaten by all cakes in the future.

Spoggie - very cool, different look to that watercolor.

    Great photos Travis(TravisfromKansas) and Gabe(Krome)

    Very artistic and well done!

Another great concept that I would love to own a real version of.

JohnnyJalopy - just as inventive and well done as always.

Excellent showing by everyone else too.

SWEET!!!! I remember the first day my folks bought their Electra. we went to Canada and the CAR was on the tow truck more than the highway. But it was still one of the most interestingly beautiful cars i have seen

  27. Thank you Dan Greenberg. I also enjoy the spirit of discovery in the shutterbug kontributions.
Regards my watercolour, Yeh, a lil' slicker than most. I think I prefer 'em loose.

Wow you guys! Thanks so much for all the kind words! I kind of dragged that project out longer than I should have. Most of the work was done in the evenings in my back yard this summer because it was so friggin hot.....But it was worth it!!

    ....next up, 1965 galaxie 500
