    Thank you Royalshifter for this thread, it takes me back to the 60's
    when I spent hours in front of hobby shops checking out this stuff.
    Here are a few I have collected over the years.
    Cheers Dago.

    Some of my box art obsession. I love the 66 and 67 AMT lines and any box with no lettering on the front. Cool thread.

    Just a little variety I didn't see yet.

    From the model heydays IMO.

    The first Woody?

    <img src='http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-4/151282/model2.JPG' width=800 height=600 >

    From the 70's.

    <img src='http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-4/151282/model3.JPG' width=800 height=600 >

    For the bikers.

    Still some of the best artwork on a toy or model IMO was the original Hot Wheel packages.

    How bout some box art replicas?

    AMT's vintage box art, such as this one by Al Borst grabbed me even as a young lad of 4 yrs old... Later I had the opportunity to build box art models for AMT. In honor of Al, and the others, I am building replicas of the cars they depicted. I started with the roadsters from the second issue roadster kit......

    Then the Chopped 25 T...

    And the 3rd (1964) issue Roadster. More to come when I get ambitious...

    I have thousands of Vintage box art covers, vintage builds, and some of my own stuff, right here at the link.

    I picked this up at a swap meet this past year, its the paper cover that gets glued to the box. The guy had a stack of them, $3 each. I had to have one for the garage wall.
