[IMG]Just did a google on East Dorset VT, map, then street view. The post office and the railroad tracks are all still there. Looks very much the same, amazing for almost 70 years.

New 55 T-Birds on a 'Convoy Auto Haulage'
    truck
    .

Shot on Jan 20, 1955 in Detroit Michigan
with a load of new Thunderbirds. The C.O.E.
tractor is an 'in house' custom-built rig, built
by Convoy, utilizing a Ford cab and other
components. Convoy built several in the early
1950's and they worked into the 1960's.

    Associated Transport - 1935
    Chev C.O.E. Car hauler tractor
    hooked to a new 'streamlined'
    Whitehead & Kales

    semi-enclosed trailer.

Before GM built coe's in house, aftermarket
coes were available. This is a Montpilier coe
    conversion. The semi-enclosed 'streamlined'
trailer was made by 'Whitehead & Kales'.
