Having a blast! La Quinta stepped it up and remodeled the rooms. Out at the Meatheads BBQ now. Food is awesome, cars are piling in, music just about to start. The drive out was very scenic. Beautiful country. Pics coming soon!

Yeah us Romans er,I mean Texans don't drink Lone Star (well most of us don't). Try some Shiner and youll be glad you did. These rod run road trips/caravans always look like a ton of fun! Funny fact about Texas for your friend from Norway, When you get to El Paso you are only half way to LA! That mileage sign as you come in on I 10 from Louisianna is kinda an eye opener as to how big Texas really is. Looking forward to seeing all of the LSRU pics.

I would be curious about the drivetrain in the Hudson.......is it Hudson Twin H Power, or has it had a transplant?

    Engine, trans, rear?

    Thanks.......nice ride..... CB

It's not a stocker. It's a '56 308 with a 262 head. It's had some work done to it. A Muncie 4spd backs it up and a 8" Ford rear. It has been a great highway car so far. This is it's third trip out to Texas.

Whenever in Austin be sure to find a great BBQ joint. Here we are at the Salt Lick Restaurant in Driftwood. Awesome food and great company!

Austin Speed Shop is a must stop when doing the Roundup! They were very accomidating considering their work load and preparations for the show. We payed our visit early to get our swag. Thanks to our bud Rocco for shoot'n it with us, and checking out our cars.

Food is no doubt part of the Roundup experience in Austin. Do yourselves a favor and find Gourdough's trailer. Unbelievable gourmet doughnut's! And yes, you will most likely be in a diabetic coma after you devour them!

That's one sweet wagon. That trip sounds like fun. Those two rides look great wherever they're parked.
