Yeah, it has really interesting wheel covers and good lines... It only lacks headlights that you have never seen before!

Man, after viewing the webpage these things are AWESOME! In the picture gallery almost everyone has a smile on their face while racing! What neat little cars!

I loved these from the moment someone linked them into my cyclecars thread. So much cooler than a go-kart.

Me & a buddy have been kicking the idea of some kind of off-road deal with a streetbike engine for a while now, but this has me thinking in a whole different direction.

Looks like a lot of fun.

We would have used too much glue... Then we would have to have Ronnie come over and fix our mistakes... and then once it was right, I would have just put it in the wall anyway! :)

Great!! Another way to piss away my retirement stash!! Which I would do in a heartbeat.....that Alfa, and the '39 Indy winner, are favorites....

This looks like a refined version of the SFVISBF with a power plant.

This reminds me of a friend that had 4 Sunfish sailboats. We went out on them a few times and just had a ball - racing, crashing and tipping over. Pure fun because they were so simple and basic.

An old saying with boats is that "the amount of fun is inversely proportionate to the length of the boat". It seems that the same theory applies to cars - these and the SFVISBF prove the point.

Follow the link and go to the 'data" page of the Road and Track "April Fool's" issue.

Too funny --I love the time/speed graph comparing the Cycle car to a race car and the 8 horse Clydsdale hitch.

I could see a HAMB version being a little more 'Merican than this. A tiny model t or a track roadster would be so cool.

I can just revive an old project. About ten years ago, I built a mini, "T" modified for my son. It was built around riding lawnmower parts. It had a hand-built sheet metal body, hood and "radiator" shell. I used a Tecumseh 12 HP OHV vertical shaft engine. My son tore-up the manual mower trans and it has sat for several years. It was fun but I'd rather have something you could sit down in, rather than sitting on top.

I've been thinking what I could do with that engine. I have a hydrostat mower trans but I'm not sure if it works. Hell, I have a complete running riding mower (18 HP B&S flathead and Hydro trans) that could be retired and put to better use. Why mower parts? They're cheap man.

Seems like there was a lot of open field area at MOKAN when I was at the HAMB drags last year......

Anyone else think building these things for a little friendly competition among HAMB'rs is a good idea ?
