I'm terrible at build threads. Just ask anyone trying to follow along on my '34 thread...

But, I acquired this T roadster body from a friend of mine and decided to do something with it while I am on an emotional hiatus from the '34. Pictures tell a thousand words, and I am just about out of them so here ya go. I'll caption the photos to give more insight as necessary.

here's the body when it came home:

mocked up on a rolling chassis i have:

    and with aprons:

after some body work and paint and some graphics:

i used some 29 aprons i had instead, cuz they were better, and cut them to fit the way i wanted:

and a running chassis that i got down at Helger's. i should have it running this week. just needs a few things. and the body in the background waiting to be mated:

That's it for now. It's about 3 weeks of work and hunting. More later.

Keith, Dad's '34 consumes me to the point of obsession. I need to get my chops up before I tackle it head on. I did some work on it today too. But I need to take that on with baby steps.

  15. Mark,

I have some '26 Chevrolet posts if you're interested- they are just about a dead ringer for the late T's!

Me likely!!!!! Why don't you not paint the word "SILVER" on it and just go ahead and put SUGAR since I will convince you to sell that roadster to me once it's finished for pennies on the dollar (in my best dwight schrute voice). :D

some seat mods are in order, and I am doing the Dennis Lacy floorboard mod, and I should be okay for space.

I mean really, does anybody "fit" in a Model t roadster. My old '26 left my head above the windshield but I loved it so I just hunched over and dealt.

Go for the gold Gow!!! So excited to see this thing come about.

i have been in other A roadsters and fit fine. yours just isn't built for me, Bill. i guess the upside is that you know i can never steal it...

the only time i have ever been the operator of a motorcycle, it didn't end well. looked sorta like that. just ask Eli. ugh.
