    Here's my pics from Sunday.

One of my all time favorites, the Joe Nitti car was brought in by Jim Lowery

This is one of the best examples of an east coast car, built in the fifties and untouched since. Thanks to George and his son Scott for bringing it out.

Man-o-man, now thats a gathering of "hot rods"! That red 50's time capsule is amazing, East coast style at its best. Just an amazing display of super rides, thanx for taking me to the event thru your lens. Most excellent photo eye my brother. ~Sololobo~

Now, I'm going to sound like an idiot for saying this, but I'm a young gun trying to get an education:

I thought the quintessential East Coast style was unchanneled? And didn't the East Coast have strict fender laws? I used to live in Pennsylvania and I'm pretty sure they've always had fender laws.

    Someone educate this poor fool.

Anyway, great pictures, thanks very much for sharing. It looked like a great time!

  11. I would love to attend that show ! Looks fantastic every year.

despite fender laws, at least in MA, lots of fellas ran without fenders.

and i think of the east coast style as channeled but unchopped. there were lots of unchanneled cars running around at the time, but the channeled car definitely helps to define the era and area and style.

I know, I went to the vintage boat show here on grand island instead. Gathering of the faithful is a possibility, I'm going to have to play it by ear though.

I was fortunate enough to get to do some work on it back in 91 when Fran was in Atlanta. I'll have to scan and upload the photos I have of it, neat old piece.
