Diehard hot rodders... That's what this year's attendees were. See, we woke up on Saturday morning to cold temperatures and severe rain. The Tardel/Cochran crew nervously setup at the park wh...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
The press democrat gave us some coverage with a neat little video: http://www1.pressdemocrat.com/apps/...id=770169275&bclid=769464397&bctid=1199152794
Great video.... And one hell of a group of cool, real deal, hot rods - every one of them! Thanks for the photos and coverage. Malcolm
WOW, awesome! They caught footage of my daughters first ride in a real Hot Rod! Many thanks to Paul for that, he was a very cool guy. And thanks to Ryan and family and the Tardels for a very cool show. I see this show growing into a very big thing in years to come. And Ryan you where right, "nothing but the good stuff".
Thanks for putting on a great show! I managed to talk to a few guys and met a Hamber or two. Still a lil shy at these events, even though I realize that most of the guys there heard about the show thru the Hamb or it's members. Cool show, I guess I will have to get a pre-49 car to bring one of these days.
anybody have more pics of the red primer 40 ford coupe w the moon disc's?? Is the owner on the HAMB? Looks like a great show.
Over 425 miles one way, a LOT of rain going up the 5, but wow, what a show. Absolutely phenomenal. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Hey and to boot, my door panel is famous! Matt
Thanks again Ryan for putting on another successful Hot Rod Revolution! Not even the Rain could keep us away Here's a piece of art i wanted to donate for the days raffle, but Ryan dug it so much that he let me give it away (as a trophy) to my favorite ride there ... a Coupe-De-Cab hot rod pick of the day, this was such an honor! out all the awesome rides there it was hard to pick just one ...but it was this Model A that stole my heart, it was owned by a fella named Josh from Napa i personally gave it to him and he was super stoked, i was hyped to present it to him for this was a first build of his. wow... what a cool looking ride inside and out. I seen this Coupe at Verns the day before with it's hood off, so i new what was hiding underneath there, a great lookin flattie Can't wait till next year! Hope everyone made the treck home in a safely manner due to the bad weather?
Great little show. It was nice to only have to drive about 20 minutes down from Santa Rosa to attend. My girlfriend even won a shirt in the raffle.
Man, this is mighty close to how I want my phaeton to turn out. About the only thing I'd do differently is blackwall tires. Awesome.
Excellent Show!! Thanks to the Cochrans and the Tardells for putting together a Hot Rod show with out all the Bullshit Cars, slutty half naked girls, and greasers with shitboxes and bad attitudes,,, Quality not Quantity. I'll be there again next hopfully with the Coupe... The Revolution will be in MFS 5 aswell.. And props to my fellow club member and good pal Aaron Von Mindin for dragin his coupe out all the way from Ventura... You get the Mad Fab long distance award evel
I keep trying to tell people... Rain - It washes off with water! Looks like a cool show. Pity it's so many (thousands) of miles away!
What, a little rain would spoil a car show for the Cali-rodders? Don't move to Iowa then.... Glad to see the "hard-core" hot rodders stuck it out. Someday I hope to have a car that will be worthy of the show. Someday the pile of parts will stack up and take the shape of a hot-rod. Someday.

Iiiii HATE shows like this! F*ckin hate 'em!! 2 reasons: 1) Too many hotshit yet extremely differentiated cars to pick/decide/desire 2) I'm stuck in the Rust Belt, not even close enough to spy from the bushes (to hide my drool)
dammit now the Ripper is going to become a trophey whore, looks like his next stop is a goodguys membership.
Just want to say thanks to Keith, Mary, Ryan and Marcie for having me there. Can't wait to sling some pork next year! Rib King
thank you steve for the award, i was totally blown away when you presented it to me... already have it hangin up... thanks to ryan and keith also for puttin on a great show... josh.
The Tardel/Cochran crew did it again- Despite the dreary weather, lots of killer rides still trudged out for the day and we had a blast! I spent Friday night putting the top up on the Merc for the first time in 2 1/2 years-- Its no quick procedure. Saturday Morning was pretty wet, but by the time I swung by Baron von Mikes house, the rain stopped and we headed up for a great time. Put me down for next year! Did anybody really check out how unrestored this 32 5W was?? Besides the 59AB it was truly unmolested, OG, and very cool-- original Mohair interior, original paint, original everything!! Check out the heat plugs: More pics of it: Here's J Ripper getting his Cab Choice award!! And here's Mike and my ride: Thanks RYAN, KEITH and CREW!!
