Excellent!! Lots of famous cars, and a bunch of cool ones that weren't so famous. Thanks, Ryan.

This just reinforces the fact that I was born 20 years too late......and that NHRA drag racing today just sucks.......

    Thanks alot.......

Towards the beginning, was that a Jag coupe all cut up or an Opal? All motor and tires.... sweet.

It sure looks like an XKE to me.

That brings back a lot of memories. That's how I remember it.

    Thanks for that one. Wow.

Yep that's an E-Type Jag all cut up.

I'd never have seen it ....Holy Crap 2000 + posts on the other thread.

I thought I'd been out at the track in some pretty crummy weather until I saw the snow piles in that video. At first I thought, no way. Imagine how hard it would have been to hookup. Esp. without the sticky stuff we have today and the old tire compounds. Might as well throw some water out there for them to slide on.

Thanks, Ryan, that was really cool. I actually saw a field of eight race floppers in the snow at Penwell (your stomping grounds) in about 1970.Dick Harrell was there!!

it looked like a snowy track was somewhat "unpredictable" in nature. :D

Hey Ryan, thanks for the trip down memory lane. When I was a kid my dad used to take me out to New York National Speedway, and I saw alot of those same cars.
Sinister Custom, you're right - films like this show us what's wrong with the NHRA today. (Maybe I wasn't born 20 years too early, after all!!)
