Until he's finished the person would like to remain anonymous. I do have other pics but these are the best. The pics are 2 yrs old and he is progressing slow because of other commitments but he is moving froward with the project this year.

  6. 208 and 210 Are the Sceptre. A very cool car well ahead of its time. The front was one full width headlight specially designed by Sylvania. The C pillars aree dark polarized glass

'59 Pontiac El Catalina. The new issue of Hemmings Classic Cars has an artical about the discovery and restoration of this factory prototype. Only one or two were built.

  12. I love the Predictor but the "Request" was pretty cool too and brought the vertical grill theme in without looking awkward.

  13. FWIW the Y-Job is frequently sitting in the north lobby of the GM Design Center for inspiration...I get to see it every so often while waiting for a meeting ...Awe-inspiring.

Since I was a kid this Harley Earl creation has always been one of my favorites. The guy was a genius who was way ahead of his time and certainly a creative inspiration for me.
I had the honor of being behind the wheel of this beauty while helping set up a small parents weekend car show at GMI when our son was a student there in the 90's.

To me that is one of the best variations of the Mustang ever...prototype, production, or modification
