Last year I purchased 19 original paintings from an old art director of Aurora model company. I had to buy all of them, or none. I was leaning towards none, but they are just too damn cool.....plus he was having some finacial difficulties. They are all airplane profiles for the sides of the box. Amazing detail. Crazy planes. Maybe someone like Django ill know wat they are. All painted by John Amendola (sp?), who I have been told is pretty big time. I'm s f'n beat from the GNRS. Hands down the most exhasuting show I've ever vended at. That said, I will try and snap some pics tomorrow and post.

Two of my favorites. The 54 sedan delivery model is why I always liked that straight axle look, and I tried to replicate every model to look like that when I was younger...and the 72 Impala (on Ebay now)...for that street freak look that I would see every now and then on the streets of Chicago (but never remember seeing an Impala) usually Chevelles and GTO's.
