  1. Nop, got a link?

Totally agree. Loved the mechanicals on the coupe. I haven't got them on the roadster only because it was already fitted with hydraulics.

  3. What's going on with the 11" (or even 10") looking backing plates in the Buick drums ?

The wheel cyl. is so far down they look like they could be 9" shoes ?

You using the drum as a cover only ?

Thanks==the rear has a model a crossmember/T spring. the front crossmember is almost flat with a rev.eye spring mounted behind a 4"dropped axle--now I just got to figure our how to mount my steering-I'm thinking about going above the frame instead of below it

Thanks alot! Comming from you that's a big compliment!

The x-member is 40 Ford... I worked it so I can use use 39 pedals with no modification and the trans mount is stock just moved back a bit.

Since those pics I redid the rear sweep...

  14. HotRodDrummer,

What is this little piece? Well, I know what it is now but what was it originally?

    Awesome detail.

I thought "Oh yeah, chassis pics......." You guys are all amazingly talented.

The Kennedy Koupe is nailed in my books.

They're like breasts - great to look at yet all slightly different:D

    Thanks alot...again!

I'm planning on breaking the whole thing down pretty soon and boxing it. I want to finish my flathead first though.

I'm gonna steal your belled lightening hole idea for the boxing plates...

I wish I could just buy them from you but I think I've got a kinda 1-off thing going here.

The '32 brake setup uses a very short central crossbar right under the U-joint, with all four rods following the path of the radius rods.
Klaz's excellent take on one of the two traditional paths to forward-pointing MC on a '32 used a section of about a 1936 cross shaft that makes the thing look like Henry built it that way. I immediately went out and found one of them and am thinking of copying his setup exactly.
The other way: Keep original cross shaft and use it to push a MC pointing forward just to the right of the trans. The more common rear facing cylinder behind the pedals puts the MC awfully close to the ground.
I may be going gold-chainer and converting my pickup to hydraulics, if you're looking for a set of those things...what will I do next?? Teal wet-look paint and remote activated power cowl vent??
