1950s Xmas Stockings

 

Awesome run of pics Dog. You must've been up all night! Seeing these brings back great memories of family get togethers and I love checking out all the toys we had as kids. This one made me laugh!

My first car or should I say, automobile was a Fire Engine similar to this one.
I fell in love with it and what I heard, I cried every time I was taken out of it.
We had the Engine in the garage way into my teenage years until my brother and I decided to ride on it down a steep hill and thus, destroying it.

 

Dog, thanks for all the great Christmas pictures. This one really hit home...I got one of those cannons for Christmas when I was about 7 or 8. It was all plastic and spring loaded. It shot cannon balls way further than you would have ever thought. Had it for years. When I went away to college Mom cleaned out my closet and got rid of all my toys...It was a real blow to me, especially the cannon.
