This one has been going on for 2 or 3 years now and I've heard good things. If you are in Arizona at all this weekend, stop by Tombstone and check out the Southwest...<P><P>To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
I'm trying real hard to get my T running for that. I've put in the Firewall, Steering & Shifter, modified the Dash, etc... Right now the list is down to rust repairs on the 1/4s, putting in the Floor, Gastank, hooking up some Wiring, Taillights, and the Windshield. See you there ( or not... )
Thank you Ryan! I've been lucky enough to make all of them so far. It started as a reliablilty run and into a combination run and show/party! Definitely not one to miss!!! jerry
see ya'all there, should I drive my kid's pickup again or my 55? looks like my orange truck won't be ready in time.
There has been something different wrong with my car during this event for the last three times. This time, I have a shot trans in the Buick and a bent control arm on the Merc.....Maybe next year.
I am trying to fanagle a ride from Phoenix to Tucson to Tombstone (or in the worst case from Tucson to Tombstone) as my 54 is still getting interior work done. Jerry if you have room for me let me know. I know it is short notice, but just looking to see what is available.
I always hear that this is a really fun gig. Unfortunately, it always seems to be the same weekend as the Antique Nationals and that's where I'll be.
Will not be there as there was death in the family this week and family takes over. Like Jerry have been there for everyone and its a blast. Greaemonkey does a hell of a job putting it on. Hope the turn out is even bigger than last year.
I can't go, I have a standing appointment to get the Burb cut and buffed. Maybe next year. My condolences, Ron. Yer right, family always comes first.
oh shit ron! well we send out condolences. if you need anything be sure to let us know. Alex,... i thinks its official,... I hate your guts! hahahaha no need to finish that coupe, just give it to meeeee hahahahahaha. well guys its gonna be wild this year, your gonna love it! I already fear the hangover!
Where is the Phx meet location and what time? Jerry, are you going down early or with others from Phx? I might make the drive down then have to run back right away after checking out the other cars.
Thanks greasy it was my wife's grandmother in Denver who was a hell of a lady. Pops should be there in the coupe and I think Skid is working on a way to go and take photos for you guys.
Deepest condolences Ron. I think the meet up is at the In-n-Out at I10 and ray around 8. Trying to roll about 8:30. Droogie, you need a ride you got it! Let me Know and I'll come pick you up. jerry

I saw a bulletin that says the 3 bands that are on wild records, chuy and the bobcats, Luis and the wildfires, and carlos and the bandidos are going to make it after all. Wonder what happened?
Getting ready for tomorrow!!!! Got some Flake done on a buddies ride last night! THANKS TO ALEX GAMBINO I GOT THE FLAKE IN TIME TO GET THIS CAR DONE!!!! MUCH THANKS!!! TOMBSTONE IS GONNA BE GREAT!!! sorry for the shitty picture but look for a shitty lookin 59 with the best roof! LOL
Thanks to the SINNERS c.c for a good run,we had alotta fun and some kool stuff parked on the streets, along with some great lookin' gals also!...never saw the flaked roof....hope ya didnt break
Nope, but then again, I wasn't there. NEXT year I MUST go. Hopefully, with the new project. Tombstone is the coolest place you can imagine and with a bunch of like minded hoodlums, how could it be any better? Where's the pics?
There were a few guys rolling around with high tech photography rigs, but neither of them post here. Everyone else was too involved in socializing, joking around, and enjoying themselves. Maybe those who should have taken pics did themselves a service by not incriminating others involved in the tomfoolery. Great show Jason! Thanks for the transport Jerry!
yeah unfortunately the flake did break down in casa grande had some starter issues and couldnt get it cranked up after a gas stop but we did have some fun on the way there <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CDeQ6OE2mTY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CDeQ6OE2mTY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
