Hey guys- Need a truck and looking for something different.

Anyone have pictures of a car someone converted into a pickup? I know its not for everyone- just post up some cool pics if you have them.

You never said what you had available to start with.

Anybody else notice the hood and roof similarities between these two pics?

Good observation and this is more than likely the same car. Even the exhaust comes out in the same place under the door.

The picture of the Dodge above reminded me that my friend has this 23 Willys touring car that he turned into a roadster pickup in the early 50's and he still drives it .....

Had a couple of those Mainline utes, would love another.
Saw one in L.A. on the back of a car-trailer, the front clip was off it but I guess you wouldn't need to ship that part from Australia.

(Murphys Law: I had just finished telling the guy with me who was from NZ that 'ya won't see a Mainline ute in the US' when the one I mentioned above was towed past, doh!)

There was one here in N.Z. at Muscle Car Madness this year, it was satin black and still had the '57 Ranchero tail-lights.

It fooled quite a few too.:D

I know, not quite on subject but this artists rendition by Brad Leisure looks pretty darned good. Anybody got an old caddy 4 door and a 55 chevy big window cab lying around?
