Here are a few pics of my truck with a set of them, the cool thing about them is my dad had these back in the days on his car. He is 82 now I am 50, he gave me his collection.
Cleaning out my garage have a couple spotlights Appleton series 90 has Firestone on handle on one.Lorraine on another that also has made by Appleton on it ,another with unity on it,
Yup the dummy spots I have seen come with both a left and right bracket. Jc Whitney sometimes have them on for $29.00 a piece. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I know that it's not an Appleton but my 57 Fairlane has a factory fit optional spot light with rear view mirror on the back side, it's one of the coolest options on my car and gets lots of questions about it. Works a treat, swivels beautifully but stays put when I can keep my hand off the handle.
Looking at buying 2 right hand appleton 112, can I mount both on my 50 merc? Will I have to get a left hand bracket? Thanks
You should be able to find a dozen guys who would trade you a left hand bracket for your extra right hand. Rights are hard to find.
Ok good, so it is ok to mount two right hand spots and it won't look funky. Thanks Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
You can turn the head to point the other direction by just turning the knob. Then remove the large knob and put it into the handle base from the other direction. Viola! Lefts and rights.
Hello, I just got a set of 112's and I plan on installing on a '47 Chevy Fleetline. I will also be making a short run of those 112/552 handles, thanks.
By any chance do you offer the Appleton tag or know who to contact? Thanks. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I'm looking for the blueprint that came in the box with the spotlights. It had a template for each car all on one blueprint. Anybody have one for sale? John Lee Williamson [email protected]
