Love all the photography this week, Bomonster - crazy, the repair shop graphic is terrific and I love the simplicity of Jimmy's streamliner.

I've been busy on a commission lately and have been neglecting the HAMB - but I have got a few sketches to share. First up an old landy...
This one was commissioned by a chap in Canada - he built the car himself using a huge truck chassis...
I did a few more postcard-sized made up cars...
a quick sketch of the big Fiat LSR car...
this one I did on the iPad, painting over one of the Audi press launch images...
and lastly there's this. It's the test rig for the rocket that will go in our LSR car. 1000L of HTP and a pump driven by an 800hp F1 engine - it'll empty it in 20secs! I sketched it on paper, took a photo of it and added the colour on the iPad - nice to be able to leave out the scanner...

I have a love/hate relationship with Fridays. You folks put up some incredible work, but you set the bar so high! I dig it, I would tell each of you what I dig but I literally don't have time, lunch hour is almost up. Thank you all for posting!

Here's a couple of my night shots while goofing off on Congress on Thursday night.

That's probably too many but I really dig going out with a fixed lens with a big aperture and just seeing what I can find by the city lights. Hope you guys and gals have a fantastic Friday and weekend.

    See you at a show,

    Travis

  14. KILLER!

These cars are from the Deluxe Speed Shop in Denver, Colorado. I don't know the owners personally, but I'm pretty sure that's the fathers car on the right and the sons on the left. They're going to LOVE this!

    Que Stick Canes

One with an antique glass door knob and one with a 1 Ball mounted on top.

Not really auto related but think of them as wooden shift levers. lol

Thanks fur biscuit. I have shot with this Argus C3 for 7 years and it keeps amazing me with just what it can produce. Now it can't get the detail like the Graflex can, but I am just loving the tones it gets!

Wow, these are awesome works of art. So photography is OK to post, even if the Photoshop is only mild?
