Wow, some incredible engine compartments here. Mine's in process and it only a driver, not a show car - obviously.

    Before (UGH!):

Now (Inner fenders have already been redone but no pic's yet...working on it!):

Jeffrey James,.....Great look , on the '40 !!!!!!! I did my 40 pickup with a very light grey firewall, to contrast the dark Ford Green engine paint. let's see more of this car, please.

Another driver here. It's a 350 in my 56 truck. Like most other rides, it's never done yet either.:D

  9. To me... the engine has to "pop"... and it doesn't take a lot of money or a lot of chrome... just an attention to detail.

    Here's a few I've done...

Love this one! This is how my '35's engine bay was supposed to look originally.

If I didn't have my buddy custom make a generator bracket that snugs the valve covers so tight I might think about switching valve covers to the set of Weiand Block Letter ones I scooped off here last week! I guess I'm gonna build another 265 sooner or later!

  17. That's pretty sweet. I was just looking at your 265 thread today as I hauled home a disassembled, machined 20 years ago complete 265 out of a Nomad. Heads are redone, crank has been ground, and it came with all the new stuff to put it back together. Viva la 265!
