It's damn nice - BUT - doesn't the rear look about an inch too forward in the wheelwell, or is it just the angle of the pic? Congrats on the new one. vic

I was at the hunnert car pile -up. Great show buy the way. Saw a model a ford truck in what i thought to be aluminum colored paint!!! I go up to it to find it was aliminum !!!!!!!!!!! The truck cab and grille even and the bed was steel but all hand made. It was just a great piece of art. I forgot the guys name but he was from the midwest. Illinois if i recall. Just amazing thanks. Knuck from indiana.

1). Congratulations on the baby, Jay. We're expecting no. 2 in February, so I speak from experience when I tell you how great it is to be a dad.

2). This is a very tasteful car, I would have believed it was a '50s/'60s original had I not been told otherwise. Seems very restrained and understated when I compare it with the other Moal builds I've seen. Nice work for certain.

Hey Jay: Congrats man! I couldn't even tell you were pregnant! That kid got his license yet?

That Moal kid is starting to get good. He'll be one to watch...

How come you never invite me to those BBQs???

Surely the inspiration for the frontal treatment and to some extent the overall body style has come from Pininfarina's even more striking Maserati A6G coupe.

There is a hint in the overall proportions ( particularly C pillar design ) of Ingrid Bergman's 1954 Ferrari 375 America -( also from Pininfarina) and the Zagato Ferrari 250GT rear window/roof treatment.

Great car and exquisite workmanship but not as sucessful in design execution as the 3 cars i have already mentioned - but much better than i could ever do, nevertheless!

Just got the well wishes from this post, since momma, big sister, baby and I all came home from the hospital this afternoon, and I'm back at the computer for the first time today.

Here's a pic I took of Henry Jakob when he was about an hour old:
    Looks like E.T., huh? :D

I guess that car is okay...if you are into owning stuff that is completely incredible and causes tremors of joy in grown men. Congrats on the baby too! He is awesome.

Good god, that's a thing of beauty! I'm fascinated by the rear window treatment- I'm assuming that window has to be plastic? Could it be glass? Anybody know?

I just had a student come through who was working for a fellow in Hailey, ID. They are building aluminum Ferrarri bodies, forget the year/body style. '56 I think.
Wonder if that is one of them.

    Hi, jangleguy!!
