Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Radshit, Jun 14, 2006.

  1. NC doesn't have anything around here. Will be VERY hard to find these things... Maybe we wont find em....???? lol Just keep looking back at Books A Million and Barnes and Noble, they just might pop up.

i picked it up as well lots of good traditional customs in the shows pics but all the feature cars seemed about the same all gm all spokes all 60's 70's. but lots of cool cars in the show coverage

  3. WTF?...i always knew there was a bunch of closet riders in here..:)
    ...but guys from 'LIL'...oy:)
    I'm almost 50 years old ...i have almost every issue of 'lowrider'...since it's 1st attempt..(very 1st).
...(i bought my last one in March of 05..junk!!)..its funny to look at old issues and see how it all of a sudden morphed into to..
.."Impala Monthly"..:)...(When Hopping became the 'big deal')
Us ol guys...(lol)..remember when almost every cover car was Ford or Merc !
They and other Mag's...seem to have forgotten that not everyone had or has or wanted ..a GM
A friends car was featured by TLM...so thats the only time i've seen an issue..
My hope for TLM...is that it can actually live up to it's name sake.

Deadend Magazine looks great. ChevyBombs.com looks real good too. Can never have enough good car sites with good content. Just got issue 3 yesterday. Has another Keeping it Traditional segment and for some of you bomb guys a 48 Fleetmaster. A few Impalas, i know, but hot cars and what people are building. As always, good photos we think you guys will enjoy.

Another link i wanted to pass along. I think people in North America, especially the US, take Riding for granted. Well maybe because there are lots of things to do other then cars, especially here in Cali. Here is a link of someone who came fromHolland just for the love of cars. Did more touring then most of us who live here:

Ted Well's house, every color METAL flake you could want. Plenty of Pesco's too. Nice ad in our next issue in that garage. The Adex ads would make nice posters for the garage.

Fixing our OC distribution problem. My brother lives right near you off Orangethorpe and Kraemer. I check all the places around there to. I know my buddy gets it at a liqour store near his house off Ball. I'll get the info from him and post it. Olds send me a message or an email: [email protected]. Sometimes when deadlines are approaching we get caught up in production. Shoot us messages and emails when you can. We have had a couple Barnes and Nobles sightings, just a matter of time when you can find it. Unfortunately not everyone has access to 7-11, they will all be caring it by next issue.

    www.traditionallowriding.com for subscriptions

subscribers get them about a week before everyone else. back issues can be ordered at the address posted in here along with the posted prices. our canadian subscribers dont get to much after people in the states do.

Barnes & Nobles has them. Went to the B&N in front of the Main Place mall in Orange and they had them. Might want to check the ones in your area. if they dont have it, ask for it because others do carry it.
