    I'm building a frame off restoration (resto-mod).
    1) Can anyone point me to a source for body mounts for a a 1937 Buick Roadmaster (80 series).
    I've looked at Bob's Automobilia and oldbuickparts but they do not list parts for that model and year.
    2) Is it possible to use modern body mounts or make mounts for either improved comfort, or perhaps, reduced body roll?
    Thanks<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

  2. Tires make good body mounts, find a fair old tire and use the tread.

  4. Yea but if you lived in Arizona hocky pucks would be hard to come by. :D

    Hockey pucks make good motor mounts as well.

  6. We got a farm team here and sometimes you can get one but not very often. I would like to have a few laying around in a box for when I need something like that.

  7. Try Pro Antique Auto Parts In Windsor Locks, CT or Restoration Supply Company in Escondido, CA. Steele Rubber Products may also have them.

    rubber belting material comes in various thicknesses, it's durable, relatively inexpensive and relatively easy to get.
