Searching for aftermarket wheels for my project. I heard that 15" wheels were made but can't locate them anywhere. The 13" 4 lugs rims that came with my ride just don't cut it.

Are you looking for steel wheels? Many different companys out there. I use Wheel Vintiques. They have a web site.

I think there is a guy here (Wheel kid) that gets a lot of praise.

Just do a search on wheel companies here and you will get a boat load of help.

Thanks for the lists. Does that mean any boneyard wheels from those models will fit? Do I need to be exact about the dust cap diameter. It is 2 9/16's.

Did the Oldsbobile f 85 have the same 4 lug rims but in a 14" or 15" size?

I bought a 62 Buick V6 3 Sp Stick. I told the dealer I would buy it if he took of the 13" and put on 15 " wheels, and I would buy the new tires. What a car, we drove it from Pgh, to Wash, DC on the same tank of gas. Sold it with 250,000 miles and it was still running a couple of yrs later. Drive shaft and timing chain were the main problem back then, but I fixed that and it RAN. Iceman

A small correction on the wheel list:

Corvair CARS only came with 13" wheels.

The Corvair vans, pickups, etc. came with 14" wheels in the more common 5 on 4-3/4 pattern.
The 65-69 cars also had this pattern.

I was thinking about smoothies with baby moons in a 14" or 15". Is that a reasonable quest?

    Slim Tempo,

Did you ever find the aftermarket wheels you were looking for for your 62 Buick Special? If you have and you still have the original 13 inch 4 lug wheels, I might be interested in buying from you. Give me a holler.

I'll keep you in mind. This spring I will be buying 4-lug 15" smoothies with baby moons from Summit. Just don't have the money right now. Thanks.

were you able to find the right width? I know you can get the correct backspacing but everything I found was too wide.

Picked up these wheels today from a Datsun 240Z.. I like the look. Not at all traditional. Going to lower it 2" this weekend hopefully and paint the centers of the wheels the satin body color.
