    'Best' of 'Biggest'?

I don't see that many 'Mopars' in his list, so when it comes to 'best', he's out for me...
Sorry Jay, ya can't have it all... :D

How can that be? Only three cars?

Because they're all mine and I can drive them! :)

I'm certain Jay does not have the biggest/largest BUT his is certainly very impressive. Why Jay's is so unique is the fact that he drives each and every one of them. Just about each day he goes to the warehouse and gets a different one to drive. They are all plated with insurance per his main guy Bob.

Other large private collections that I have visted you can just tell that the cars aren't taken out very often, if at all.

Using the word "best" is just too subjective.

There's 8% of that list Mopar badges, same with GM badges and about the same with Fords.
A "best COLLECTION" wouldn't be all one make in most people's view so WTF do you want?
The list is only about 1/4 of his admitted on TV 300± collection anyway so who knows what is actually in it.
These might be just the one's he drives to work!

Iwas going to say about the same thing.Your own collection is always the best because you built what you wanted to build.Someone elses is nice but done their way.Of course this does not apply if you have not had the good fortune to do one the way you want yet.

Well it's really impossible to say since we all have different tastes. Leno's is impressive and he drives them. The ACD Museum sure has some fantastic cars. 2002p51's is cool because they are his. It's all opinion. I'd like one of Ralph Lauren's pretty red cars, but as a group it's not that striking-all very similar. And there's always the question of whether you'd spend your $1 million lottery winnings on one million dollar car, ten $100K cars or 50 $20K cars?

It's a bit like asking who has the best wife, but that's no contest, because I do.:)

  17. Bruce Meyer has some nice toys.

That list of Leno's looks short of quite a few of his cars, plus there's all his bikes too.

Otis Chandler had a stunning collection, and as mentioned above, the LeMay family have some amazing cars.

If you looking for the "best" as in hot rod quality that pertains to this board, I would say that Dave Simard has the best that I've seen.

  19. What started out as a "working mans" collection, Harold Lemay had a pretty good run going back in the late 90's

Harold and Nancy LeMay amassed the largest privately owned collection of automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, other vehicles 3400+ and 14,000+ pieces of related memorabilia in the world.

  20. Subjective is the key word,,,Leno does enjoy his cars the same way we do,,he just has more cars to have fun with. HRP

If Jay wnated some Mopars Im sure he could pull some change together to get one. Maybe its not his style. Thing I like about Jay is his collection is for him cause those are the cars he likes and he enjoys not what other people deem cool. Im not trying to be a dick either just saying cause I think Jay has some goofy shit as well but the simple fact that he does work on them and knows so much history on them is just too damn cool. I mean he drives a damn steam car to work. How damn traditional is that hahahaha....also from what I heard, key word heard, is that he doesnt use the money he makes from the tonight show on his cars. Only money he makes from doing stand up or shows and things like that so its all "play" money. lucky shit....he sure does alot for charity as well so good for him

The LeMay collection is claimed to be the biggest, but it is not necessarily the best collection. It is open to the public, (visited it last year) but you have to go through with a guide. They have a turbine engine 32 Roadster built in the late 50's which was cool. They also have the Desoto from Happy Days.
