  10. Hands down in Topeka is BOBO's burgers. No need to chew, it will melt in your mouth. Think it was on "Diners, Drive-in's, and Dives" too. Pictures later. Damn, the wife fed me tofu and zucchini for dinner. I'M STARVING!

I third that! In fact I've been craving it for the past few weeks.
That Rampart/Beverly location is the best! I think I'll go grab right now.

I 2nd The former Parasol = Mel's Drive In-Seal Beach, (If one only knew what it took to save that landmark). Its a great place, has killer terrazo! (Too bad that Steve Wiese doesn't have one with a canopy, It would be doing 3 times the biz!) Don't cha think. Bring on Bob's Broiler Baby!

Tommy Burgers in L.A. area.... Small chain but not a franchise. You got to order a chile cheese burger ( double cheese, double meat preferably) no plain burger they don't cut it. For big chain In and Out is the best old fashion burger.

Giant Burger on San Pablo Ave, Richmond, CA. They had great pies too in the '70's when I lived there.

Keller's in Dallas. I ate dinner there this evening. No hotrods tonight though. A local VW club was there with a bunch of vintage Fahrvergnügen.
