help on old drag car from illinois

    trying to find some info for a friend, on a 48 anglia he bought, car was called BADASS, , small blk chevy, clutch flite, olds rear, blown, 2 port hilborn, car ran mostly at oswego dragstrip, maybe great lakes, candy blue with blue tinted windows. told owner has moved to arizona about 10 years ago or so. was owned by the blankenship brothers, i heard last owner lived in lansing illinois.has a picture of a mule painted on the door. any info would be appreciated. having trouble trying to post pics, if anybody would want to help, i will email them to post for me. thanks rich

    Sorry I don't know the car, but I'm sure glad you posted this - I love discovering old racers I didn't know about! Especially vintage Gassers and Anglias are my favorites. This one's way cool. Good luck. I'd try Byron at Gasser Madness, too.

    This was actually my grandpas car him and his cousins and brother are the ones who built it and ran it at owesego
