When Coolstuff told me that he was planning a show for the weekend that was previously the Hunnert weekend I said immediately that I'd be there. When he told me where it was going down I figured out it was a 12 hour drive and booked a room. It was worth every minute of the drive!

I hit Woodstock, IL around 5 on Friday, checked into the hotel and then went over to the McHenry Fairgrounds to see what was up.

Some braved the cold weather and camped on site, congrats to you, but I'm not that guy any more

I thought it was a great show and the turn out was great, esp for the first year of the show. Some really nice cars showed up and I didn't run into not one person in a bad mood or with an atttitude even with the cold temps. Congrats and thanks to Coolstuff for putting on a very good show!

That V-12 A was my favorite of the show, tried to track down the owner but failed.

I miss a few here and there :) 38 is the projected total for shows this year, next year I will cut back to 20 and try to focus on shooting feature videos and photoshoots for my website and magazines, gotta start breaking even or making a little profit if I want to continue at all.

Thanks! And the same to the Mrs.!

I saw your car... does that count? :) Next time I'll make Coolstuff find you and intro us.

    that's just not fair sir...

Thanks everyone for the kind words! More to come!

Travis Amigo, this is some amazing coverage of this cool event. I wish I could have been there to support it first hand. Although I feel I traveled via your lens work. I am so appreciative of your efforts and realize it is damn expensive to participate in this work for our no cost enjoyment. So a super "THANX" bro. Looks like The Iron Invasion was a super success.. ~sololobo~
