  1. Excellent stuff as always chaps.
Here's a WIP for a local car show this summer at a fun fair down on the south coast here in the UK.
    Have a great weekend,

Before and after. Should be available at the GNRS.

Poster design for Rick Dore and James Hetfield. Original photo by Tim Sutton.

Last weekend, my grandfather and I were cleaning the garage, and stumbled across his old books from highschool. This is about all we found in the spiral labled "US HISTORY"! He would've been a senior around 1955...

A progression of a piece I did in Photoshop some time ago. I'm working on tractor pull t-shirt designs right now so nothing really new to post.

Sorry about the news Kenmo. Although everyone's different when it comes to cancer treatment and response, prostrate cancer has a good survival rate. It's important you feel good about your oncology team and have good communication. It's a heavy load on one's mind in the meantime. Best of luck.

A lot of great pieces posted again this week. Great variety. Inspirational to say the least.

  9. Last one is labeled "My Rod". Curious did it exist other than on paper and dreams, and did your grandfather continue drawing or building cars? Must have been a great finding this forgotten piece of family history.

I painted my beer fridge, did a flying heart on glass and pinstriped a friends truck. The actual striping took place on the hood but it was getting dark and the pic sucked.

  15. First of all,
Everybody's stuff is really great this week - so much that I am not going to have time to compliment all of you individually, sadly, because you all deserve massive recognition...
I ripped off a quick sketch on an envelope at lunch while waiting for my food.... then the other took a bit longer to pen up afterward... I call it "Carson Box"

  26. COOP, those pictures are really great. I went to the open house at the Crow's nest, while out there last year.
What a great place. Those guys are all amazing and the shop makes you want to stay an be a part of it.
You have captured the whole mood beautifully, thanks for the great memory.
One more thing, regarding their character, I only met them that day and our visit was very brief but, when
I ran into a couple of them, among the throngs at the GNRS, they not only remembered me but we picked
up on conversation like old friends.

This was equally true of the guys from Gambino's bye the way...

  27. Paul ... Love the Rockin' Robot!

Thanks to all for your kind words about my stuff. Thanks Joe Lockwood for the cool car that
inspired the doodle. The Dude in the doodle was very loosely based on the big guy in the
movie 'The Wanderers" ("Leave da kid alone...") with a greaser twist ( and a little bit of
    Johnny B, Ah-hu-huh!)

Don't recall if I showed this final piece last week or not? Recovering from jaw surgery.

Then the actual proof taken with my janky camera.
