  3. A Google Image search of Rapid Truck will find this same picture labeled as Rapid. Rapid and Reliance Trucks were the two companies that Billy Durant bought around 1911 to form GMC.

  4. Maybe an early Durant 4?

Can anyone ID this big car. It's parked in front of the YMCA, where scary looking Santas congregate :D I think the last car has a MASS plate, it looks like Boston but I'm not sure it is.

MrFire, that Mercedes is flat awesome. Surely says a lot about race
tech and BALLS, doesn't it? The belly pan and wires are trick, plus
    those wings!

Here's another pretty special car: '21 Lexington Minuteman 6. Not
    exactly a Model T!

Here's another view of a Pierce in Yosemite. Interesting that the CAL plate says 1930 but the car is no later than 1918.

Here's a challenge! Sent in to the Surrey Vintage Vehicle Society from the U.S., but it's a French postcard. ID????

  27. Maybe a Locomobile from around 1906? I reckon it is not bigger than about 30hp and on a wheelbase of not much more than 110".

  28. Even as late as 1918 this thing probably has an armoured wood frame and an overhead worm drive rear end. At 12mph the picnic destination was probably not far from town.
