LMAO! that's cool! What kind of fines could you have amassed if you were caught by the 5-0! :) That red plastic gas cap itself should be a felony!

Only someone who owns something like that can truly appreciate the ride! Lol! When I took my 27T-ster out for its 1st ride. It was @ El Mirage and the body wasn't even bolted down=lol! I think that it has 3 in there now. Brakes pulsate & are marginal & the fact the it doesn't have it's windsheild doesn't bother me a bit lol!
I will say that it is the most fun that I've had in one my cars.
I used to lend it to this kid named Steven for months @ a time.

I helped him eventually build something like it, but his wasn't as fun.
He did drive it from Pasadena to Balboa Island/Newport as a true 1st drive though=He soon lost interest & stayed with the VW Bug clique.

Drive ithe wood spokes off the one that you have!

  6. You boys are havin'way too much fun with this.

And not a blue light the whole trip:p

"Pull that thing over to the curb! You inna heap o'trouble, boy!"

Great video. Thanks! Loved the steam out the radiator cap.

I can relate. I bought a stone stock '26 T roadster this past summer. My wife and I have been terriorizing the back roads around here at the blistering rate of about 35 MPH. It's a whole new perspective, getting transported around at what seems like a fast walk. We went out to visit her friend when we first got it. Normally it's about a 15 minute drive. We arrived about an hour later and almost didn't get home before dark, not taking into account the time needed to get home.:)

Cool...........and the sound of "Potato/potato/potato" from the motor had me grinning.......I had a great uncle describe that sound when I was a chump kid.

I saw that old 1900s brick house crack a smile when you drove bye.Just think those model Ts ruled the road when that neighborhood was built. The goofball in tights on the bike just had to peddel harder to show ya he was cool.LOL. Great video guys thanks for posting!

blast from the past, huh? cool seeing that again though.

but i agree, the T would look a little weird with trim from a pontiac...

This thread has done a three year jump in time. I have looked over all of it and the side lites too. Looks like you have had a great time with everything. Great find.

Not sure The Roach has quite got the hang of this posting malarkey, but even if brought up accidentally, it's nice to see the T post again, especially when you check the dates of the in barn post and the on street post. gave me a real feel good feelin, had tears in my eyes.
