Wow, I'm really surprised at the responses. I see people getting all goofy over some ugly-ass customs or that weird teardrop looking car, but this people have a problem with? The proportions on this isn't too bad. I see a lot of potential there. I think the first thing I'd do is get it vatted to get rid of all the rust and then figure out what is salvageable. (if the whole thing don't dissolve in brown goo.). I hope someone takes up the cause and builds it right.

count me in with the couple who thinks it could be fairly neat. It's not as big of POS as many things I've seen built. I think the price is about 3x too high though...except that dash might be worth a few hundred by itself.

I think it could be cool, but not for 3 grand. It looks to me to be more Lincoln Zephyr than 36 ford. Too bad there wasn't a better pic of the rear decklid area.

I don't see what is so bad about it, I am confused here. Doesn't anyone on the HAMB have a welder and some ambition anymore???

Was that parked next to the Oklahoma Plymouth? Damn. It does have potential, and that steering wheel is HOT SHIT.

I kinda like it. I would build it. But I don't see $3000 worth of car there.

as a few others mentioned,,the price is kinda steep,,
i think there is definitely potential there,,all you have to do is think outside the box a little,,,,i can picture all kinds of cool ideas when i look at that,,,
it would be a ton of work,,,but worth doing in the end,,

    just my opinion..

It looks like someone don't agree with you about the high price. There is a 3K bid on it now. Hell, that could be a piece of history under all that gold and brown coating, er rust!

I think it can be saved and made cool again. $3k is about right for the right guy.

I like the front end, the rest is um.... not so good.

  21. I think it's ultimate. The Popular Mechanics Bastard Child on the other hand is not.
