Great inspiration on here again. I was staring at Mr. Black's art in Street Rodder earlier this morning. Pretty slick piece.

I did a couple of shirt designs for this weekend's show, this one's a little more H.A.M.B. friendly.
(I have no idea what color shirt's this is printed on).

Blackie, Janne...you two put out such amazing work! Beautiful work! Makes me wanna scrap everything I've done and start learning to draw all over again.

fortypickup- love the lil roadster (actually both are pretty damned cool!) Nice to see some samples of your older work.

    Jen- killer striping!!!

Joel- Awesome rendering of the woody! Great work. I dig the Norton Commando tin too! (the purple rocket car drawing on the wall is preetty slick as well!)
    Bernie- Digging the bike, man!

Change the wheels to American 5 spokes, and the tires to blackwalls and blackwall slicks then that would be my little T Tudor.

    I dig it!

Killer show everyone. I made a drawing of a modified GoJak wheel dolly. 2 styles of wishbones, dropped axle, ripple tubing, hurst'y style shifter and what not. I went to the GoJak factory again in CT., and gave them these drawings. Sorry, off topic but its all I got.

I also draw'd a picture for the HAMB VW social group crowd to try and figure out.

If someone does not build this, I may have too. I can feel the wind in my hair already. Fantastic work.

I am by no means a photographer, but I thought this photo I took turned out pretty cool.

Practice setup for a scene in an upcoming documetary on the Gyronaut, Alex Tremulis' "Kaiser 105", drawn 60 years ago. It's all Alex's original equipment and paint...

  21. Wow there's a ton of amazing work this week, gents.

A buddy of mine owns a bar and brews some great beers. I whipped up a draft tap handle for his "Skull Crusher Nut Brown Ale". The actual carved hand/skull is from Jimmy Flintstone, I just painted it, and made the rest. First time trying to etch copper, turned out pretty good...

3Sheets aka Jason Janes contributed this for the art auction. We will be setting up an art auction here on the HAMB as well as on FB.
The Rat Fink is a one off piece of art that is metal - stands 2 feet tall and 18 inches from toe to toe.
Thanks for all the hard work on this 3Sheets!
The detail up close is just amazing - we will post more pix soon.

  24. A trilling ride this week gang, keep 'em coming!!!

Jeff ... You know you bad!

    Bernie, love 'em...

I was hoping to finish this piece today but I'll leave you with a couple hints for now.

I should be done tomorrow. Also, I appreciate the patience of many who support my work and hope to see some progress on my web sight very soon. Others I've been in contact with, I am sharpening pencils and readying the ink as well as the digital hardware...

    Dreamer is a'comin' along...

    More car show sketches,

The '36 is actually owned by Stanley Wanlass, (look him up, very cool automotive sculptures) one of my favorite artists, it was a thrill to be able to sketch his car at a show.

There's too much awesome on here, thanks everyone for making my Friday better. I'm inspired, hoping to feel up to a 8 hour round trip tomorrow to a show to see if I can't be better than I was last weekend, my continual goal. Here's a re-edit of our own yblock292's 40 Ford Coupe. I know I've shot a ton of Jack's stuff but he has great cars that photograph well. Next week I will post something that someone else owns.

Thanks again for adding some inspiration to my day folks, there's too many of you to list!

  29. O.K; Keep 'em coming..

:)Fresh junk. I'm into rebuilding my old FJ Holden car. More post-war aussies were concieved in these cars than any other!

So I just threw this red one together for kicks. There must have been hundreds of hotted- up red FJ's built. I'm including the yellow one here also- this is the build concept for my car.
