    I found this site while searching for the ID of a griffin hood ornament (It appears to be an Essex, thanks for the help!). Thought you guys might appreciate this oddity I ran across in the search: A penguin ornament for sale by some art house. Reported to be of French origin. Very neat. I'm not sure it's $4400 worth of neat, though! Peace. -Wade B.
