Heres 3 shots of one i picked up at a antique store, says"Nylint toys" "made in USA" on the bottom. Looks like the same company as "xix32"'s, but without the bobbed rears. JimV
I started on these about 10 yrs ago and never finished. Both were real rough and missing parts so I decided to wing it.
Cool looking Nylint hot rod and even cooler COE transporter - good work. Check out the 'vintage tether cars' thread as there are some really great models to be seen. I will be posting some tether hot rod photos soon that you may like............................. cheers!
2 Wyandotte speedsters in my avatar shot....have a 200+ pc collection of Wyandotte and Marx pressed steel cars & trucks from 30's thru 50's. Had a large portion photgraphed/published in a book chronicling the history of Wyandotte toys several years back.....love these damn things, play w/'em all the time while I'm workin' @ my desk....I'm a major toy dork
Hey '59...do have more pics posted elsewhere in HAMBville - search "old toys" and they should come up. Didn't post 'em here cause I's keepin' [sorta] w/the hot rod theme
