Editor's Note: After some consideration, the folks here at The Jalopy Journal World Headquarters decided that it would be beneficial to feature a new and different voice on the blog every now and then. Hearing the news, I decided to go out and ch...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Jay gets traditional rods and knows a ton of history on just about everything posted here. I can't wait to read some blogs posted on JalopyJournal.com. Great to see you here Jay.
Welcome the the HAMB Jay! You are one of my favorite writers and I always look forward to your stories in the Rodder's Journal. I can't wait to hear more. ~Scott
Jay...just be careful.....you've told us too many good stories! We've seen Jay out in his 32 for no reason other than to just drive it.....how cool is that. Clark
Glad you have found your ways to the HAMB... Looking forward to read your stories on here. I have always really enjoyed reading your articles in the Rodder's journal. Very well written and researched. A real pleasure experience.
Yeah hey, Keep up the great entertainment and info, looking forward to it a lot! Cheers and beers Hodge
Saw your coupe at Jalopyrama. I've been around this hobby since the 50's and don't think I've seen those Thickstun covers on that flathead before. Might be a good subject to expound on?
Congrats Jay! I'm glad that there is another outlet for your great writing. Can't wait to read more from you.
To have worked with Pat and the others must be very kool. His son just compleated the Sam Barris rebuild ( Merc ) and what a job. I credit Pat with the rebirth of Kustoms in the early 80,s not only that but Mr.Sharps respect of our car history most of might have been lost. it was a sad day when Pat left RC> indeed.
COOL! Glad to be able to read more Fitzhugh! Your '32 is looking great, but that yellow '40.....DANG man, that was a nice one too!
Just one more reason to leave the TV off as well, unless the big news is a ...........HAMB cable channel
Wow. Glad to hear it Jay! Hope you will inspire a few more of us here...those that don't (or won't) pay 15 bucks for TRJ will be blessed by your gift. Maybe we'll even learn something... imagine that. Spike
It was the Kinmont Story that made me finally subscribe to TRJ, and now there's no going back. It's all your fault, so I hope you keep contributing. Spoke with you on the phone years ago about SW's and such, and am glad you now decided to become more active on the HAMB.
Welcome Jay, from a fellow Marylander (across the other side of the bay though, now other side of the country). Nice contribution and definitely look forward to some more.
Wow Jay, it's good to see that pic of your old 40. Brings back memories. We met talking about 40 fords at the Big M years ago if I remember correctly. Always liked that coupe!
Welcome Jay, you come highly recomended and well credentialed. Unfortunately (for me it seems) I don't know your work, however I look forward to reading your TJJ contributions. Yet another reason why the HAMB really is the place to get the "Gospel" for Hoodlums World Wide!
Hey Jay, glad to see you made it to the HAMB. It was cool talking hot rods AND old music equipment with you at dinner last week. See you soon.
