I just recently came across a 1968 Corvette BBC Tri Power manifold and carbs. Does anyone know of a reputable "Corvette Guy" that could possibly give me an idea of what the value of this set up would be. Thanks, Colby
according to ebay completed auctions, the sellers want more than two grand, but the buyers want to pay less than that. So no sales over the last 30 days to go by.
The sky has fallen on prices on most everything. There was a complete setup today at a large local swap. It was removed when the car was one year old, and it was mint and clean as new with air cleaner. 1800 sticker, then was told 1500... I do not know if it sold.
GM used to sell those setups over the counter.. Guys with big block Camaros would bolt those on just to wow the crowd at the local burger joint..
I had a '67 rect port set-up on the 502 in my old Model A. It use to really piss of the Vette guys, no joke - but I loved it.
About 5 years ago I sold a Oval port 69 Corvette 427 3 Deuces manifold complete with the air cleaner for $2500. Sadly, things are not bringing the $$$ they used to. Mine was a take-off unit in 1970 and still had the water neck and all the little correct linkage parts. I had a NOS AC Delco air filter ( 1971 purchase date and the recipt ) to go with it
Is the Winters foundry still around??? They're the ones that cast most of the hi-po manifolds for GM back in the dayzz....
You can also buy repro manifolds these days (with or without the Winters foundry mark), so that may have also affected values a bit.
How would you like the block, crank and heads to go with it? Make you one hell of a deal! Market dependent as said. How complete like wing nuts to bottom or? Air cleaner as well? Value is still up there 1.5K plus depending on condition and carb numbers. Just need to find the buyer.
