I used to really like 40 ford tail lights and they still work for me in some applications. I think it is the Chevron thing, like the gas station.

I think it is interesting that in '38 they still only had one tail light, at least on the standard. I never really thought about it as most hot rods have two these days. I like the '38 lights.
