For all of you who are totally confused by what is officially happening on Sunday during the Lonestar Roundup hopefully I can clear things up. As usual and as we have done for the past 8 years, the cruise thru the hill country to Ski Shores Cafe is happening Sunday morning. The place was closed for renovations and is REOPENING by the the first of April. We will meet up on S. Congress around Jo's and the Continental Club Sunday morning about 10:30 and hopefully get started out there about 11-ish. We will get down there to Ski Shores on Pearce Rd for lunch and some much needed relaxing at the lake. It's a great place to wind down from the weekend. The address is 2905 Pearce Road
Austin, TX 78730-4310 if you want to map it. (There will be maps in your registration packages) It is pretty easy and a beautiful drive down there. Same as usual we leave S. Congress about 11am and head out to Ben White Blvd and head west and on to Hwy 360 N. Stay on Hwy 360 and after you cross the suspension bridge over Lake Austin you take a left on Courtyard Dr and it winds down to City Park Rd. Left on City Park Rd all the way down until you see the signs to Ski Shores Cafe on the lake (Oak Shores Dr) and take a left. (Do not go into Emma Long Municipal Park...you would have gone too far). The new owners have been hard at it to get it up and running and ready for our event on April 11. Can't wait to see everyone that weekend.

Side Note: It was brought to my attention Mercury Charlie is having an open house at his shop later that afternoon.........Ski Shores is right on the way. You can easily do both if so inclined, but Ski Shores(est.1954) is a "not to be missed" old vintage slice of Austin.
