I just bought a 3rd row seat from a ford excursion that is 41 inches wide , might take a look at those if you get a chance , it`s leather too.
Uncle Max gave me a good tip when I rebuilt my carbs , soak the leather seals in neatsfoot oil , worked great , it is the same stuff you would use...
