i think im just gonna port the exhaust outs for the headers to match and shave the heads and use em...hopefully itll all work ha
there a hair off like enough i wouldnt care but not sure if itd really make a hurge difference in the performance

the block im using is a from 69 its complete and running but needs a good rebuild i have some doug thorley headers for it and an offy 4 barrel...
intake and exhaust ports are the same and the combustion chambers are the same maybe they were machined to match?
i dont see it...from my experience the heads are almost all identical except the valves and a few other things but the main stuff like sparkplug...
did ya bore out the block?
well i just measured the intake and exhaust valves and they are the same on both and whats the best way to clean up the rust and store them while...

well funny thing thats where it was leaking from when i got the truck and thought it was the rear main....il check it again cause i replaced it...
im glad the first things i checked were the main things everyone suggested:rolleyes:...makes me glad i paid attention to all the people who have...

nothing was distrubed after i turned the truck off i ran about a day without my pcv valve hooked up....so i think i blew the rear main...
im not getting spark so ill have to track that down the coil and plug on it were corroded pretty bad....but the coils putting off spark...but...
thats what i was thinking but the kicker is before i started to fix all these little issues it was my daily driver and it started right up 2 days...
been working on my 64 dodge truck that has a 69 ply 318/727 recently converted to EI and things just went from there ive been having an oil leak...
its right outside of chattanooga wires to the coil have power and when you bump the engine it changes so i know to the coil im getting power...
