To me they have to be channeled at least over the frame. Fenderless cars sitting on top of frames just look half assed IMO.

Also look for auctions. We picked up a Pfaff for $120 in perfect condition.
Also look for bubbles (usually tiny) in the water.

It really all depends on what you want to do. Seems the majority here use their lathe more, but I use my mill a LOT more then my lathe, mostly...

Yep, and quicker if sunlight sits on them.
Then you need to learn how to use a mill. A rotory table on a mill would do this job easilly.:cool:
