A fellow club member had this problem with a 235 and did this only used Sea Foam and I admit I was shocked it worked and still runs like a top today.
I would bet it is a 32 lid as well. My brother had the same thing happen when he purchaced his A roadster. Made for a nice pay day!

There is no locking strip on this one. I used that type on a 48 Chevy I had and didn't have any wrinkle problems like on this one.
I'm trying to get the glass sorted out on my 40 Merc. I ordered a windshield gasket from MACs. I cut and glued it to fit but it really wrinkles up...
I ran the Vintage Speed adapter with 94's on my sedan when I had it and it worked great.

I lowered the front with a Sid's drop axle and removing the bottom leaf and reversing the eyes on the top spring. In the rear I flipped the axle...
