Saltflats yeah I thought maybe it was bearings. Whoever done it before I got it never crushed the sleeve.
New bearings . I knew backlash was tight just trying to get pinion depth right first. . I'll remove .005 and recheck. . Thanks for your help. ..
I used original shim .030. To start with. . Pinion was loose is what caused me to look at gears.
New gears ,, I held pressure on ring gear when i spun pinion , backlash .005
we were there and I didn't see a lot of cars in your pics.. Thanks
OK I'll remove a shim from pinion and check again Thanks for the info..
