I am working on an old car getting it started, and I have no wiring harness and only using jumpers from a battery to see if the engine will run....
i like that set up i may buy one of those
thats an expensive piece of equipment, it would have to be a really nice stick welder for me to want to spend that kind of money to improve it.
i spent some time tonight looking at the 37 and i agree with your thoughts on the chop.....i have a channel above the doors that i think can stay...

lock up for sure.....if you use a lock up controller that works off of speed you will have no problems what so ever.

i had one....a 1960 or 61 with something like a 144 cid 6 in it....this thing wouldnt get out of its own way going down hill....
