am thinking of painting my '49 some sort of copper or gold, maybe w/flake... anyone have any pics of cool colors or examples?? thanks-

Copper Sunburst Metallic, found on the late model Cadillac CTS. It's beautiful! Looks very sixties to me, too. Also, there's a funky green-gold like on that Model T above that is available on the PT Cruiser- if you can live with that sort of indignity.

you probably can't see the flake in the pic, but there is flake fogged in down the center of the bike.

copper basecoat, no fancy name, fogged in the copper flake, then hit it with aztec gold pearl until it looked right.

Ford had a sweet color back in the mid sixties called Emberglow, they used it on T-birds and Mustangs until '66.

I got one of them Johnny Lightning cars, actually a truck. It's copper with red scallops, with white outlines around the scallops. Really sharp. If I could find the darn thing I'd scan it, but our whole damn house is packed up to move... That's how I was gonna do my 49.

ancient chinese secret,hahhaa ,,nah ,i think it maybe cuz they havent been striped yet,,,still looking and waiting for the right guy,my area isnt exactly a hot spot for stripers(or strippers)

The Copper I put on my ol shop truck, it kinda looks gold in the sun but I dont have any pic`s of it in the sun!
