    TRACK ROADSTER Photos.
I've had these 60+ roadster photos for 25 years and thought it was time to share, most were shot by my old friend Russ LeNarz who shot for Petersen back in the 1950's and a few came from friend Greg Sharp. I know some of you out there are building track roadsters and some just like this time period of racing, I hope these will help on all the fresh builds and for the rest I hope you enjoy. Most of the pictures were shot in Southern California at the Gardena Bowl, Carrell Speedway, Saugas Speedway, Ascot Park, Tulare in Central Ca, DeAnza Park in Riverside Ca. Most photos were ID buy Mr. Rod Eschenburg back in the early 80's, I have posted that info also.

Thanks for the great photos, Track roadsters have always been one of my favorites. My dad started his racing carreer in these in 1948, in Western Pa

  29. Another amazing thread. Thanks.

  30. I was taking a closer look at the photos and noticed the roadster on the right (#20) is Regg Schlemmer's T roadster. This is the first shot I have ever seen of it without its famous track nose. (#59 is of course Johnny Hartman's T)
