Really no different than subbing, if done right it's ok. I've seen late models done the same way. Makes for a hauler bed that can easily be used with a low car
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think it would be funny to put a shortened pickup bed behind one of those cabs with the tallest, fattest slicks you could get on the rear end. Modify the bed and fenders anyway possible to fit. Something like top fuel rear slicks. It would look like a Hot Wheels. Probably stand on its nose if you hit the brakes too hard.
A for effort. Looks kinda homely with that teeny grill though. Not enough deco styling in such a huge space like the originals. I've seen another trailer mated to a FWD to make a car hauler. Pretty good idea if you ask me. FWIW, I can't stand Coe pickup trucks.
