I stumbled onto this while doing some searching on Napa's website. It says its an alternator and the price is $219. Thought it looked like an old Ford piece. http://www.napaonline.com/NOLPPSE/(S(msoljc55yybpcebdwmyviw45))/Detail.aspx?R=WIL92013050_0163612196
Your link is not working. What were you searching at the time or give us a part number or something. Nice piece to keep in the file for future use.
Never mind, I got the part # from the link WIL92013050 and searched it in the partspro link and found it. Thanks.
I don't know, Napa's site didn't have the specs and Wilson's site isn't open to schmucks like me - gotta be in the biz apparently. Hell, it could be a gennie for all I know, but it was listed under alternators.
A little looking on NAPA shows it fits Allis Chalmers 1939 - 1957 Oliver 1944 - 1953 so it would be a mislabelled generator
FYI- This unit is a 6 Volt, 25 amp generator used on Minneapolis Moline Equipment. Wilson numbers follow this form: First two numbers indicate the type of unit. 90= Alternator, 91= Starter, 92= Generator. Second two numbers indicate OE manufacturer. 01= Delco, 02= Ford, 03= Chrysler and the list goes on! (I sell that particualr generator for $187 as 01/2009)
